Hellen Hernandez

Hellen Hernandez is an Undergraduate student at Pitt majoring in Political Science and Philosophy and minoring in Spanish. She serves as a Latinx Support Assistant through the Center for Ethnic Studies Research where she helps manage events and works with different faculty members on their research. Hellen’s own research focuses on the voting behavior and civic engagement of Latina/o/x individuals in the United States. She plans to get her PhD in Political Science after graduating from Pitt and focus on creating opportunities for other underrepresented students in academia.
