Melody M Fonseca Santos

Dr. Melody M. Fonseca Santos is an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. Her research focuses on the United States' foreign policy towards the Caribbean, as well as postcolonial and decolonial theory, and feminist studies. Currently, she serves as the Vice-Chair of the Puerto Rico Section of the Latin American Studies Association and is a member of the executive committee of the Global South Caucus within the International Studies Association.
